APPLETON, Wis. -- A few minutes in the second and third period proved to be the difference Friday as the Lawrence University women's hockey team fell 6-0 to Concordia University Wisconsin in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at the Appleton Ice Center.
  Concordia scored three times in a span of 4:09 in the second period and scored three times over just 1:25 in the third period.Â
  The game was scoreless more than eight minutes into the second period, but the Vikings were whistled for two penalties in a span of just 19 seconds. Concordia scored on the 5-on-3 advantage and then added another goal 12 seconds later on the 5-on-4 to lead 2-0. The Falcons tacked on another goal at the 12:27 mark to go up 3-0.
  Concordia started its third-period outburst with a short-handed goal at the 15:17 mark of the third. They added two goals at 16:27 and 16:42 to close out the scoring.

Charlie Prior made 31 saves for the Vikings (3-19-0, 2-11-0 NCHA), and Kami McCardle made 18 saves for Concordia (11-9-1, 6-7-0).
  The teams finish the series Saturday night at Concordia.
