Vikings shut out by St. Norbert

    APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's hockey team lost 5-0 to St. Norbert College on Saturday in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game the Champion Center. 
    St. Norbert (16-4-1, 11-0-1 NCHA) opened the scoring midway through the opening period and led 2-0 heading to the second. 
    The teams battled through a scoreless second period, but the Green Knights sealed the victory with three goals in the third.
    Neither team cashed in on the power play as Lawrence (3-17-1, 2-10-0) went 0-for-4, and St. Norbert was 0-for-3.
    Sarah Dobrzynski made 29 saves for the Vikings, and Ashley Omman stopped 17 shots for St. Norbert.
