SAINT PAUL, Minn. -- The Lawrence University women's hockey team dropped an 8-1 nonconference decision to Hamline University on Saturday at TRIA Rink.
  Hamline jumped out to a 4-1 lead before Lawrence scored late in the second period. The Pipers (2-0-0) then added four third-period goals to pull away.

Evelyn Pryadkin scored with 1:03 left in the second off an assist from
Kate Holtz for Lawrence's lone tally.

Ella Sciborski played almost 42 minutes in net for the Vikings and made 46 saves.
Sydney Seeley stopped 15 shots in relief for Lawrence. Harper Powell made two saves for Hamline.
