ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Lawrence University women's hockey team scored in the opening minute Saturday, but it all Adrian College after that in a 12-1 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association win by the Bulldogs at Arrington Arena.
   Fifth-ranked Adrian and Lawrence both scored in the first 57 seconds of the game, but Adrian went on lead 4-1 after the first period. The Bulldogs then scored six times in the second and tacked on two more goals in the third for the final margin. Courtney Ben posted a hat trick for Adrian (7-1-0, 6-0-0).

Meg Landman scored her first goal for the Vikings (1-6-1, 1-4-1) when she tied the game at 1-1 just 57 seconds into the contest.

Ella Sciborski started in goal for the Vikings and made 29 saves through the first 31:01.
Sydney Seeley came on in relief and stopped 23 shots over the remainder of the contest.
