STEVENS POINT, Wis. — Lawrence University (0-8-0) fell to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (5-2-0) on Tuesday, 4–0, with the Pointers securing a shutout victory. The Vikings' goaltender made 24 saves, but the team was unable to capitalize on their 22 shots on goal.
The game began with the Pointers taking an early lead just 17 seconds into the first period. Natalie Ahern scored the opening goal with assists from Molly Pohlkamp and Amanda Pouchnik. Despite the Vikings' efforts, including a missed shot by
Kate Boberg shortly after, they could not capitalize on their opportunities. The Pointers extended their lead at 17:17 with a power-play goal by Abby Skelly, assisted by Alyssa Yokom and Ahern, concluding the first period with a 2-0 advantage over the Vikings.
The Pointers extended their lead to 3–0 against the Vikings in the second period, highlighted by a goal from Riley Novak at 15:25 with assists from Yokom and Skyler Arneson. The period saw strong defensive efforts from the Vikings, with

The Vikings' defense, led by goaltender Sciborski, faced relentless attacks but managed several crucial saves, including a shot that hit the pipe from Pohlkamp.
