What being a Viking means to me?
Being a Viking first and foremost means Chasing Perfection so that one may Catch Excellence in all endeavors both on and off the field. That quote comes from Vince Lombardi.
It means being a well-rounded student-athlete that engages himself or herself in all that the university has to offer.
As a Viking, you have great character and integrity, and you are loyal to your team and the coaches.
A Viking learns how to respond to adversity and overcome it.
A Viking is a great teammate putting the team before any individual agenda.
A Viking is a servant leader who performs many selfless acts to help others.
Being a Viking means being part of a lifetime family of our classmates, our alumni, and our future Vikings.
