Kevin Salinas is part of the first coaching staff in Lawrence University women's hockey history, and he has a history with the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association.
A native of Zion, Illinois, Salinas played for Aurora University when the Spartans first joined the NCHA back in 2014. A forward during his college playing days, Salinas played for the Wisconsin Rampage of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League before attending Aurora. A 2017 Aurora graduate, Salinas earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science with minors in business and exercise physiology.
Before joining the Lawrence coaching staff, Salinas was an assistant coach for New England College. Salinas spent two seasons on the coaching staff at New England College.
Salinas also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from New England College in 2019.
