Lawrence University

Kenna Farrey is set to join the Lawrence University women’s hockey staff as an assistant coach this season.

Farrey comes to Lawrence after serving as the Director of Women’s Hockey Operations at the University of Maine since 2024. In addition to managing the program’s day-to-day operations, she served as the primary athletic communications contact for the women’s hockey program.

Before her time at Maine, Farrey worked at St. Cloud State University as the Director of Hockey Operations and Sports Information Director for the women’s hockey and women’s soccer programs from 2019 to 2021. She earned a master’s degree in strategic media from St. Cloud State in 2021.

A native of Houghton, Michigan, Farrey earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and media from St. Norbert College. She was a four-year member of the Green Knights women’s hockey team and also competed for one season with the women’s golf program.
