Adnan Sarancic averaged a double-double as Lawrence opened Midwest Conference play with a split of two games. The junior forward from Gurnee, Ill., averaged 17.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game while shooting 63.6 percent from the floor. He had 18 points and 11 rebounds in an 87-82 win over Grinnell and posted 17 points and 12 rebounds in a 50-47 setback at Beloit.
