Elden Santana was perfect at the plate and picked up his first collegiate victory as Lawrence swept a doubleheader from Minnesota-Morris on March 19 at US Bank Stadium. The rookie from Brooklyn, N.Y., went 2-for-2 in a 16-2 win in the opener with a double, three runs scored, a run driven in and a pair of walks. In a 7-3 victory in the nightcap, he tossed 1.1 innings of hitless relief for his first win.
