Nolan Mahaffey helped Lawrence to a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association sweep at Dubuque and was chosen as one of the league's 3 Stars of the Week. A first-year goaltender from Grove City, Pa., Mahaffey posted a .962 save percentage and 0.97 goals against average in the two games. He stopped 27 shots in the 2-1 OT win in the series opener and made 24 saves in a 4-1 victory the next day.
