Taylor Freeman tied a school record and was named Midwest Conference Player of the Week. A junior second baseman from Missouri City, Texas, Freeman hit .700 over three games with five home runs, two doubles and nine runs batted in while posting an astounding 3.186 OPS. Freeman tied the Lawrence game record with three home runs in a 21-5 victory over the Olivet while driving in six runs.
