Elden Santana was the winning pitcher as Lawrence clinched the Midwest Conference title and was named the league's Pitcher of the Week. The senior from Brooklyn, N.Y., was impressive in Lawrence's 6-1 victory at Monmouth. Santana went seven innings and allowed only two hits and no earned runs. He struck out 12 and walked one to pick up his fifth victory of the season.
