Elden Santana put on a masterful pitching performance in Lawrence's 12-0 win over Maritime College in the spring break opener in Florida. The senior pitcher from Brooklyn, N.Y., fired a two-hit shutout, striking out nine and walking two. He didn't allow a runner past second base and retired the final 15 Maritime hitters he faced in order.
