Elden Santana continued his torrid start to the season with seven shutout innings in a 2-0 victory over Beloit. The senior right-handed pitcher from Brooklyn, N.Y., scattered three hits while striking out six and walking two to improve to 4-0 the season. Santana lowered his earned run average to 1.27 on the season.
