Taylor Freeman hit .650 as Lawrence went 5-0, and he was named Midwest Conference Player of the Week. The first-year infielder from MIssouri City, Texas, went 13-for-20 with two home runs, three doubles, eight runs batted in and four runs scored. A highlight of the week was Freeman's walk-off, three-run homer in a 3-0 win over Illinois College.
