APPLETON, Wis. -- Erika Hess and Delaney Pruitt scored two goals apiece Sunday to lead the Carroll University women's soccer team to a 6-0 nonconference win over Lawrence University on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.

The Pioneers (2-4-3) scored three times in each half. 

Pruitt scored both of her goals in the first half, sandwiched around a tally by Jensen Meyer, as the Pioneers led 3-0 at the break. Hess scored the first two goals of the second half for Carroll, and the Pioneers added a final goal in the last seven minutes.

Claire Vinopal played the first 66 minutes for the Vikings and stopped 14 shots. Katlyn Seiffert came on in relief and made two saves.
