GRINNELL, Iowa -- The Grinnell College women's soccer team scored once in each half Sunday to post a 2-0 Midwest Conference victory over Lawrence University at Springer Field.

Gwen Holtzman scored in the 31st minute, and Esmin Kayim-Yanko scored in the 53rd minute for the Pioneers.

Claire Vinopal kept the Vikings in the game as she made 17 saves. Elizabeth Hunt made one save to pick up the shutout for Grinnell.
