GALESBURG, Ill. -- The Lawrence University women's soccer team fell 7-0 at Knox College in a Midwest Conference match on Saturday.

Knox broke the game open with a trio of goals right before and right after halftime.

Lawrence trailed 1-0 before Knox scored with just 44 seconds left in the first half. The Prairie Fire then scored two goals in the first 3:29 of the second half to pull away.

Goalkeeper Sarah Yochem made seven saves for the Vikings. Knox posted a 26-1 edge in shots.
