ST. PETER, Minn. -- The Lawrence University men's hockey team allowed three third-period goals Saturday, and that was the difference in a 7-4 nonconference loss to Gustavus Adolphus College at Don Roberts Rink.
  The game was tied 4-4 heading to the third period, but the Gusties scored three times in a stretch of five minutes to pull away and gain a split of the weekend series.
  Brandon McNamara broke the 4-4 tie with a goal at the 13:40 mark, and Connor Clemons made it 6-4 with a goal just 30 seconds later. The Gusties sealed the win with Jack Suchy's goal at the 18:36 to complete the scoring.
  Lawrence jumped on the board first when
Zach Lodes scored off an assist from
Oliver DeCroock at the 11:33 mark of the opening period. Gustavus grabbed the lead back with two goals in the final 4:52 of the first and led 2-1 after one.
  DeCroock tied the game just 5:32 into the second off assists from
Vincent Dekumbis and Lodes. Lawrence took the lead just 14 seconds later when Dekumbis scored off a pass from Lodes for a 3-2 edge.
  Gustavus scored the next two goals to grab a 4-3 advantage, but
Tyler Jensen scored off a pass from
Matt Meininger with 1:24 left in the second period to tie the game up at 4-4 headed to the third.

Alex Mosquera stopped 37 shots and took the loss for Lawrence, and Jackson Hjelle made 23 saves to pick up the win.
  Lawrence went 0-for-4 on the power play, and the Gusties were 0-for-1.
