ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Lawrence University women's hockey team dropped a 6-0 nonconference decision to St. Catherine's University Friday at Drake Arena.
  A big second period helped break the game open for the Wildcats, who scored three times in the second to build a 4-0 edge. St. Catherine's added a pair of third-period goals for the final margin.
  Sophia Gorski had the final two goals for St. Catherine's, and Lindsey Hays had a goal and two assists.

Maeve Tallman made 40 saves for the Vikings, and Elizabeth Kubicek made 15 saves to record the shutout for the Wildcats.
  The teams wrap up the series on Saturday.
