Box Score   FOND DU LAC, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's hockey team scored three times in the second period Friday to take the lead and went on to a 6-2 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association victory over Marian University at the Blue Line Ice Center.
  Lawrence now needs a win or tie in Saturday's game at the Appleton Family Ice Center to win back the Battle of Highway 41 trophy.

Ivan Galaguzov had a goal and two assists, and
Vincent Dekumbis had three assists.
Charles Stewart,
Will Robertson and
Tyler Jensen all had two points for the Vikings. Lawrence goaltender
Brian Tallieu made 31 saves to earn a victory in his first action of the season. Aaron Brunn took the loss after making 14 saves over the first two periods.
  The Vikings trailed 2-1 in the second period when Marian's Gianni Vitali was sent off for hooking at the 6:12 mark. It took the Vikings less than a minute to cash in as Robertson scored the power-play goal at 7:07 off assists from Galaguzov and Dekumbis to tie the game at 2-2.

Brandon Halvorsen gave the Vikings the lead for good five minutes later when he scored with assists going to Stewart and Jensen for a 3-2 advantage. Lawrence's
Oliver DeCroock then picked up his third goal of the season off a passes from
Zach Lodes and Dekumbis for a 4-2 lead with just 1:34 remaining in the second period.
  The Vikings increased the advantage to 5-2 in the third period thanks to another power-play goal. Lawrence scored just four seconds into a power play as Galaguzov scored off a pass from Robertson at the 12:57 mark. Lawrence went 3-for-6 on the power play, and Marian was 0-for-6.
    Stewart added an empty-net goal with 1:08 left for the final margin.
  Lawrence took an early 1-0 lead on
Davis Kirkendall's first goal of the season, and Marian scored the game's next two goals to take the lead.
  The game featured 19 penalties combined for 93 penalty minutes.
