Box Score   APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 nonconference decision to Maranatha Baptist University on Saturday at the Lawrence Invitational.
  Maranatha topped Lawrence 25-23, 25-22, 25-21 in three tight sets. The Vikings led late in both of the first two sets before the Sabercats rallied.

Elizabeth Liebau and
Sophia Galassini had 10 kills apiece to pace Lawrence, but the Vikings hit just .125 for the match.
Aliana Butler-Gray added eight kills for the Vikings, and
Jordan Adamson had five.

Kali Pfannerstill led Lawrence (4-6) with 13 digs, and
Dana Mestey and
Averie Miller added 12 digs apiece. Miller topped the Vikings with 27 assists.
  The Vikings led 21-17 in the opening set before Maranatha scored six consecutive points to lead 23-21. The Vikings tied it at 23-23, but Maranatha got the next two points to close out the set.Â
  Lawrence led 20-15 in the second set and Maranatha again rattled off six consecutive points. The Vikings grabbed the lead back at 22-21, but Maranatha scored four straight points to close out the set.
  The Vikings had a 16-14 lead in the third set, but Maranatha seized control by scoring eight consecutive points and hung on to close out the match.
