  Sean Espinoza scored a game-high 29 points for Lake Forest (7-13, 6-5).
Lawrence eased away from the Foresters midway through the first half. Lillwitz's jumper started a 17-4 run that turned an 8-7 deficit into a 24-12 lead for the Vikings. Lillwitz scored seven points during that stretch, and Fisher added five.Â
Lawrence stretched the lead to 18 at 52-34 on a Fisher 3-pointer with 39 seconds left in the first half before settling for a 52-36 lead at the break.
The Vikings scored the first four points of the second half and gradually built the lead to 25 at 67-42 less than five minutes after the break. Lawrence built the lead to as many as 28 points before Lake Forest closed the gap to less than 20 in the final minute of the game.
The victory snapped an eight-game losing skid to Lake Forest, and it marked resurgent Lawrence's first win over the Foresters since the 2015-16 season.
Lawrence returns to action on Tuesday when the Vikings travel to Knox College.
