APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's hockey team fell 5-0 on Friday to UW-Superior in a nonconference contest at the Appleton Ice Center.
  The Yellowjackets scored twice in the second period and added three more in the third to pull away.
  Lucy Drougas scored a pair of goals, and Jenna Hoops had two assists for Superior.
  The game was scoreless until Jada LeBlanc scored at the 9:27 mark of the second. Drougas added a goal at 15:07 and Superior led 2-0 after two. Three more goals in the third sealed the victory for the Yellowjackets.Â

Sydney Seeley was solid in net as she stopped 44 shots. Rose Beeman made 17 saves to pick up the shutout for Superior.
  Lawrence went 0-for-2 on the power play, and Superior was 0-for-4.
  The teams wrap up the series on Saturday afternoon.
