Vikings shut out at St. Catherine

    ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Lawrence University women's hockey team fell 6-0 to St. Catherine University in a nonconference game at Drake Arena.
    The Wildcats scored in the game's first minute and then added a power-play goal midway through the period to lead 2-0 after one. St. Catherine tacked on three more goals in the first 11 minutes of the second period before adding a third-period goal to complete the scoring.
    Sydney Seeley made the start in goal for the Vikings and allowed four goals while making 15 saves. Charlie Prior stopped 14 shots over the final 34:49 while allowing a pair of goals. Elizabeth Kubicek made 11 saves to pick up the shutout for the Wildcats.
    Marie Reimer recorded a hat trick to lead the St. Catherine offense.
    The teams wrap up the series on Saturday.
