APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University football team fell to the University of Chicago 60-0 on Saturday in a Midwest Conference game on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.

Lawrence was limited to 61 yards of offense and three first downs.
 Â
Aidan Williams played quarterback for the Vikings in the opening half and ran nine times for 18 yards. He completed 3-of-7 passes for 22 yards.
Jackson Barbour was under center in the second half and ran five times for 14 yards and was 0-for-4 passing.
The Lawrence defense was paced by linebacker
Jon Pasquarello, who piled up a game-high 14 tackles, including 1.0 tackles for loss.
KJ Sweeney added eight tackles for the Vikings, and
Chey Lecour had six stops, including a sack and an additional tackle for loss.
Chicago got a big day from star running back Nick D'Ambrose, who carried 21 times for 147 yards and three touchdowns. D'Ambrose had scoring runs of 22 and 26 yards in the first half, and the Maroons picked up a 61-yard punt return for a touchdown to build a 36-0 lead at the half.
