MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team fell 3-0 to Mount Mary University on Saturday in the Blue Angel Bash.
    Mount Mary downed the Vikings 25-15, 25-12, 25-22 at the Bloechl Center.
    The Blue Angels raced away in the opening two sets before the Vikings battled back in the third. Lawrence closed to two points late before Mount Mary hung on for the win.
    Aliana Butler-Gray led the Vikings with eight kills, and Kylie Naylor added six kills. Hilirie McLaughlin and Mikala Seymour chipped in with four kills apiece for the Vikings.
    Marife Entenza paced the Vikings with 22 assists and she picked up six digs. Kali Pfannerstill led the Vikigns with 16 digs and added a pair of assists. Callista Lo had a team-best two service aces for Lawrence.
    Lawrence is back in action on Tuesday when the Vikings host Alverno College in its home opener.
