APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team dropped a tough 3-2 nonconference decision to Rockford University on Saturday at Alexander Gymnasium.
  Rockford downed the Vikings 21-25, 25-9, 17-25, 25-12, 15-4 in a match that was part of the Lawrence Tournament.
  Lawrence had a balanced attack as three hitters posted seven kills apiece.
Mikala Seymour had seven kills and a .300 hitting percentage to go with four blocks for the Vikings.
Hilirie McLaughlin and Kyle Naylor also had seven kills apiece.
Aliana Butler-Gray added six kills, two blocks and four digs for Lawrence.

Dana Mestey posted a double-double with 24 assists and 11 digs for the Vikings.
Marife Entenza paced Lawrence with 21 digs, and
Daphne Piotrowski added seven digs and a pair of aces.
  Lawrence scored four of the final five points to take the opening set and then grabbed a 2-1 lead by scoring five of the final six points in the third set. Rockford roared back to take the fourth set, and the Regents scored the final eight points of the fifth set to take the match.
