DECORAH, Iowa -- The Lawrence University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 nonconference decision to Carroll University on Friday at the Luther College Tournament.
  Carroll topped the Vikings 25-11, 25-10, 25-13 at the Luther Regents Center.
  Rookie hitter
Mikala Seymour found success against Carroll with a team-best five kills on just 14 attacks for a solid .357 hitting percentage. Seymour also had three blocks for the Vikings.
Kylie Naylor and
Hilirie McLaughlin added three kills apiece for the Vikings.
  The versatile
Marife Entenza served as the Vikings' setter and finished with 14 assists. Entenza also picked up five digs.
Daphne Piotrowski led the Vikings with eight digs, and Naylor added six.
  Carroll hit .326 as a team and had 10 service aces.
