APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's soccer team completely dominated Knox College on Saturday en route to a 6-0 Midwest Conference victory on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.
  Lawrence scored four times in a span of nine minutes in the opening half to break the game wide open.

Hannah Kalt had a goal and an assist, and
Madi Jones also had a goal and an assist for the Vikings.
Natalie Linebarger,
Hanna Knudsen,
Cambrie Rickard and
Emma Vasconez also scored for the Vikings.Â
  Lawrence played all three of its goalkeepers in the match.
Audri Klionsky made the start in net for the Vikings and made one save in the opening half.
Ella Lysne and
Kat Heyn split time in the second half to secure the shutout. Sara Mirani made 12 saves for Knox.
  After peppering Knox with shots in the opening 30-plus minutes, Lawrence broke through on
Natalie Linebarger's goal at 33:11 for a 1-0 lead. The Vikings quickly doubled that lead when Kalt scored off assists by
Kylie Grimes and
Kylie Melonis at 34:54.
  Knudsen then scored at 39:39 off assists from
Sophia Gaus and Jones for a 3-0 lead. Jones then scored at 42:59 to give the Vikings a 4-0 lead at the break.
  The Vikings pushed the lead to 5-0 when Rickard scored off an assist from Melonis at 62:58. Lawrence then completed the scoring when
Emma Vasconez scored at 73:10 off assists from Kalt and
Kaitlyn Khazen.
  Lawrence improved to 5-5-3 on the season, and the Vikings are now 4-1-1 in Midwest Conference play.
