Vikings shut out at Grinnell

    GRINNELL, Iowa -- The Lawrence University men's soccer team ended its season on Saturday with a 5-0 Midwest Conference loss to Grinnell College at Springer Field.
    The Pioneers scored twice in the first half and then added two goals in the first six minutes of the second half to pull away. 
    Billy Cherres scored three times for Grinnell, which outshot the Vikings 26-8.
    Ethan Uribe played the first 54:06 in goal for the Vikings and allowed four goals while making five saves. Nason Lancina played the final 35:54 and made four saves while allowing one goal.
    Three Grinnell goalkeepers combined to make four saves in the shutout.
