Lawrence drops three tight sets to Blue Angels

    MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team lost three tight sets Wednesday in a 3-0 nonconference setback at Mount Mary University.
    The Blue Angels topped Lawrence 25-23, 27-25, 25-21.
    Hilirie McLaughlin paced Lawrence with 10 kills and posted a .269 hitting percentage. Mikala Seymour added nine kills with no errors and had a .429 hitting percentage.
    Setter Cora Linos collected 26 assists and added three aces, nine digs and four kills. 
    Daphne Piotrowski led Lawrence with 16 digs, and Dana Mestey added 14 digs and eight kills. Taylor Hughes and Bailey Nez picked up 12 digs apiece for the Vikings.
    Lawrence played without regulars Aliana Butler-Gray and Callista Lo due to injury.
