Lawrence drops league contest to Foresters

    APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's hockey team fell 4-0 to Lake Forest College on Friday night in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at the Community First Champion Center.
    Lake Forest scored midway through the opening period and added two more goals in the second to pull away. Lake Forest tacked on another goal early in the third period for the final margin.
    Zara Post had a hat trick for Lake Forest and that included a pair of power-play goals. Lake Forest went 2-for-4 on the power play, and the Vikings were 0-for-3.
    Chelsea Denniss made 26 saves to pick up the shutout for Lake Forest. Sarah Dobrzynski stopped 31 shots for the Vikings.
    Lake Forest posted a 35-26 edge in shots for the game.
    The teams wrap up the league series on Saturday at Lake Forest.
