MAUSTON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University baseball team dropped a pair of games Wednesday to Ripon College in a Midwest Conference doubleheader at the Woodside Complex.
  Lawrence fell 11-10 in the opener, and Ripon ran away for a 28-2 seven-inning victory in the second game.
  In the first game,
Parker Knoll went 4-for-5 with two doubles, four runs scored and a run batted in for Lawrence (5-11, 1-4 MWC). Lawrence's
Jacob Charon was 3-for-4, scored twice and drove in a run.
Taylor Freeman hit a two-run homer in the opening inning for the Vikings.
  Connor Robertson allowed three hits and one earned run over the final four innings but was tagged with the loss. He struck out six and did not walk a batter.
  In the second game, RIpon put together a 23-hit attack against five Lawrence pitchers.

Preston Anderson allowed six hits and eight runs in the first 2.1 innings and took the loss. Lawrence was limited to four hits and scored both of its runs in the seventh.
