APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's soccer team started strong Tuesday, but the Vikings couldn't keep that momentum going in a 3-1 nonconference loss to St. Norbert College on Ron Roberts Field at the Banta Bowl.
  Lawrence put pressure on the Green Knights from the opening whistle and scored in the ninth minute to grab the lead.

Natalie Linebarger took a corner kick on the south end of the field and curled it past St. Norbert goalkeeper Lilly Collins for a 1-0 lead at 8:18.
  St. Norbert tied it when Abby Thompson took a rebound and fired it past Lawrence goalkeeper
Audri Klionsky to tie the score at 1-1 at the 37:59 mark.Â
  The score was tied at the half, but St. Norbert's Haley Leadingham scored at 51:57 to give the Green Knights a 2-1 edge.
  Lawrence pressured the Green Knights to get the equalizer but were unable to connect on multiple chances. The Green Knights then added another tally on Melanie Simon's goal at 76:53.
  St. Norbert had a 14-9 edge in shots for the match.
  Collins finished with five saves for St. Norbert, and Klionsky had three for the Vikings.
