MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team used a strong and balanced attack Saturday to post a 3-1 victory over Mount Mary University at the Kern Center.
  Lawrence downed the Blue Angels 23-25,25-21, 25-17, 25-13 in the match that was part of the MSOE Triangular.

Aliana Butler-Gray led Lawrence's attack with 12 kills, and
Mikala Seymour added 10 kills against just two errors for a solid .444 hitting percentage. Lawrence hit .225 for the match.

Cora Linos handed out 32 assists to go with six kills, three service aces and 10 digs.Â

Callista Lo had 20 digs and added seven kills, and
Taylor Hughes paced the Vikings with 21 digs.
Hilirie McLaughlin collected five blocks and picked up six kills for Lawrence.
  After Lawrence dropped a tight first set, the Vikings bounced back to take command in the second set. Lawrence trailed 12-3 in the second set but later went on a 6-0 run to trim the lead to 17-16. The Vikings added another 6-0 run later in the set to take the lead for good and even the match at one set apiece.
  Lawrence trailed early in the third set but took the lead for good at 12-11 and steadily pulled away to win the set. The Vikings then closed out the match after jumping out to an 8-0 lead in the fourth set. Mount Mary battled back to cut the lead to one, but Lawrence later scored five unanswered points to pull away.
