WINONA, Minn. -- The Lawrence University women's hockey team scored first Tuesday, but No. 13 Saint Mary's University pushed through for a 4-1 nonconference victory at Saint Mary's Ice Arena.
  The Vikings got on the board quickly as
Lauren Askenazy scored her fifth goal of the season just 1:56 into the game for a 1-0 advantage.
  Saint Mary's bounced back quickly as it tied the game at the 3:48 mark of the first.
  The game was tied until midway through the second period when Sidney Polzin's goal put the Cardinals up 2-1. Saint Mary's (13-4-0) added a goal late in the second and then sealed the win with a goal midway through the third period.
  Rookie goaltender
Sarah Dobrzynski was outstanding in net for the Vikings as she stopped a career-high 58 shots for the Vikings (3-15-1). Celeste Rimstad made eight saves for the Cardinals.
