Lawrence rolls to sweep of Bucs

    BELOIT, Wis. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team grabbed a 3-0 Midwest Conference victory over Beloit College on Friday at Flood Arena.
    Lawrence took the opening set 26-24 before winning the final two sets 25-14 and 25-15.
    Lawrence was led by its big three of Hazel Cook, Margaret Hahnke and Aliana Butler-Gray. Cook had a match-high 13 kills to go with five aces and eight digs.
    Butler-Gray picked up 11 kills, three aces and seven digs. Hahnke matched that with 11 kills, and she added five digs. 
    Lawrence setter Cora Linos picked up 29 assists to go with two aces and six digs.
    Lawrence (10-18, 3-3 MWC) stays on the road and plays at Cornell College on Saturday.
