RIPON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University volleyball team wrapped up the regular season on Friday with a 3-0 Midwest Conference victory over Ripon College at Weiske Gymnasium.
    Lawrence topped the Red Hawks 25-23, 25-19, 26-24.
    The win gives Lawrence a 4-4 record in the Midwest Conference and its first victory over Ripon since the 2019 season.
    Hazel Cook pounded out a match-high 14 kills for the Vikings to go along with four digs and a pair of blocks. Margaret Hahnke added 12 kills, nine digs and five aces for the Vikings (11-20 overall). 
    Setter Cora Linos picked up 23 assists and had five kills, eight digs and two aces for Lawrence. Daphne Piotrowski collected a match-high 15 digs, and Aliana Butler-Gray added five kills, three digs and three blocks.
