APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University men's basketball team dropped a 110-78 Midwest Conference decision to Grinnell College on Saturday at Alexander Gymnasium.
  Grinnell pushed out to a 51-35 advantage at the half and went on a 9-2 run early in the second half to increase the lead. Grinnell slowly built the advantage with the biggest lead being the final margin.

Casey Schoenecker led Lawrence (2-6, 0-2 MWC) with 17 points and added seven rebounds and six assists before fouling out.
Landon Key added 14 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the floor and picked up four rebounds and three assists for the Vikings. Lawrence's
Nathan Valentine also was in double figures with 12 points and added four assists, three steals and three rebounds.
  Gabe Garcia paced Grinnell (7-2, 2-0) with 27 points, and Kai Te Huki added 23.
