APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's basketball team fell behind by double digits late in the second quarter Saturday, and Illinois College went on to post a 67-51 Midwest Conference victory at Alexander Gymnasium.
  Illinois College (13-9, 8-5 MWC) went from five points down after the first quarter to a 29-18 lead at the half.Â
  The Lady Blues maintained that advantage in the third quarter and started to grow the lead heading to the fourth. Illinois College built a 22-point advantage early in the fourth quarter, and Lawrence (12-10, 6-7) never got closer than 12 points the rest of the way.
  Lawrence committed 25 turnovers that led to 27 Illinois College points.Â

Maggie Culver had a big game for the Vikings as she posted a double-double with 16 points and 14 rebounds.
Emma Carlson added six points, eight rebounds and two blocks for Lawrence.Â
  Maya Smith led four Illinois College players in double figures with 14 points.
  Lawrence returns to action on Tuesday when the Vikings host Lake Forest College.
