Lawrence began the first set with a service error, allowing Knox to gain an early lead. Elle Haddon contributed significantly for Knox with two early kills, but Lawrence responded with a series of effective plays.
Audrey Weier and
Chania Tinch each delivered key kills, helping Lawrence tie the score at 5-5. A pivotal moment came as Lawrence went on a 7-0 run, extending their lead from 7-8 to 14-8, including a service ace by
Aria Wessel. Weier and
