JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The Lawrence University football team fell behind early Saturday and never recovered in a 59-0 Midwest Conference loss to Illinois College at England Stadium.
  The Blueboys (3-1, 2-1 MWC) scored 28 points in the first quarter to pull away, and the Illinois College defense did the rest. The Blueboys limited Lawrence (0-4, 0-3) to 92 yards of offense.

Boris Christensen went 9-for-11 passing for 48 yards.
Hunter Carlson carried five times for the Vikings for 20 yards.
Anthony Martin-Sweet caught a team-best three passes for 33 yards and ran seven times for 17 yards.
  Linebacker
Jon Pasquarello posted a game-high seven tackles for the Vikings.
Tucker Holmes added five tackles, including 1.0 tackles for loss, and
George Taylor also had five tackles, including four solo.Â
  Lawrence returns to the road again next Saturday when the Vikings travel to the University of Chicago.
