LAKE FOREST, Ill. — Lawrence University (0-6-0, 0-3-0) was defeated by Lake Forest College (5-0-0, 3-0-0), 5-2, in a conference matchup on Friday. The Vikings managed to score twice in the second period, but the Foresters' three power-play goals secured the home victory.

The game began with Lake Forest gaining control as they won the initial faceoff. A pivotal moment occurred at 16:07 when Lake Forest's Lily Anderson scored the first and only goal of the period on a power play, assisted by Victoria Liu and Jasmine Kohl. Despite a late power play opportunity for the Foresters following a hooking penalty on Deibert, the period concluded with Lake Forest leading 1–0.

Later, Alex Luke capitalized on another power play, increasing the advantage to 3–0 at 10:26 with assists from Jenna Fryar and Ella Maher. The Vikings responded in the final stretch as Kate Holtz scored at 2:23, assisted by Sullivan Gillis and Emmerson Berger. Ashley Slupe then added a power-play goal at 1:15 with help from Sena Hasegawa and Berger, closing the gap to 4–2 by the period's end.

Lake Forest maintained pressure early in the third period, highlighted by a pair of missed shots from Maher and Kohl, both saved by Sarah Dobrzynski.
