GRINNELL, Iowa — Lawrence University fell to Grinnell College 63-6 at Rosenbloom Field, with the only score for the Lawrence Vikings coming from an 88-yard kickoff return touchdown.

Lawrence responded swiftly to Grinnell's early lead, with Noah Elhardouzi returning a kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown immediately after Grinnell's opening score. Despite this momentum, the Vikings faced challenges on offense, failing to convert on third down and gaining only 11 rushing yards on five attempts in the first quarter. Grinnell capitalized on a fumble recovery, adding a field goal to hold a 10-6 lead at the end of the period.

Grinnell capitalized on Lawrence's turnovers and penalties to extend their lead in the second quarter. Following a fumble recovery by Grinnell at the 13:13 mark, Lucky Carton led the charge with a 25-yard rush, setting up a scoring drive that resulted in a touchdown by Sam Eaton.
