The Lawrence University Vikings have earned significant recognition from the Midwest Conference for their outstanding achievements during the 2025 volleyball season. The team garnered multiple individual accolades, including the prestigious Coach of the Year award after breaking the single season wins record and making the conference tournament for the 2nd time in program history.Ā

Jeff Van Lannen - Coach of the Year
Ā - In his second season as head coach, Van Lannen, along with assistants
Emma Kane,
Alaina Beimborn-Hahn, and
Adam Hahn, led the Vikings to a school-record 23Ā victories overall and a 6-2 record in conference play. The team secured a spot in the Midwest Conference Tournament for only the second time in school history and the first since 2016.
Audrey Weier - Newcomer of the Year and First Team
Ā - Weier was recognized as the 2025 MWC Volleyball Newcomer of the Year, marking the second consecutive year Lawrence received this honor. She ranked among the top five players in the conference across several categories: third in blocks (24), fifth in kills per set (3.17), and fifth in hitting percentage (.332).
Ally Corrente - First Team
Ā - Corrente's historic rookie year saw her delivering a record 1,238 assists, which led the Midwest Conference and earned her national recognition.
Hazel Cook - Second Team
Ā - Cook's standout sophomore season included top ten finishes in overall points scored, alongside top 15 in blocks and top ten in kills.
