DE PERE, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's hockey team hung with No. 10 St. Norbert College for two-plus periods Friday before the Green Knights pulled away for a 6-2 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association victory at the Cornerstone Community Center.
  Lawrence (6-14-4, 3-10-4 NCHA) took an early lead and forged a 2-2 tie late into second period. A goal in the final seconds of the second period gave St. Norbert a 3-2 lead, and the Green Knights scored three times in the third to pull away.
  The Vikings jumped on top at the 6:32 mark of the first period when
Josie Daly scored her first goal of the season off assists from
Evelyn Pryadkin and
Meg Landman for a 1-0 advantage.
  St. Norbert (19-4-1, 15-1-1) scored two goals in a span of 43 seconds in later in the first period to grab a 2-1 lead.Â
  The Vikings bounced back in the second period and tied the game at 2-2 on
Sofia Alvarez's goal at the 7:05 mark with assists going to
Sena Hasegawa and
Reese Deibert.
  The Green Knights then took the lead on Samantha Pacino's goal with just 23 seconds left in the second period. St. Norbert scored at the 6:10 mark of the third for a 4-2 lead and then tacked on two more insurance goals.

Ella Sciborski stopped 40 shots for the Vikings, and Keira Markell made eight saves for St. Norbert.
  The Vikings enter the final game of the regular season on Saturday with a three-point lead over MSOE for the final NCHA playoff spot. A Lawrence win or tie in regulation or an MSOE loss or tie would clinch a playoff spot for the Vikings.
