APPLETON, Wis. -- The Lawrence University women's hocey team rallied from a 2-0 defiicit Saturday, but No. 10 St. Norbert College pulled away in the second period and went on to a 6-2 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association win at the Champion Center.
  The Vikings were down by a pair of goals when
Sofia Alvarez struck for her third goal of the season with 1:02 left in the first. Her tally off assists from
Reese Deibert and
Sena Hasegawa cut the deficit to 2-1.
  Alvarez then scored at the 2:53 of the second period off assists from Deibert and Hasegawa to tie the game at 2-2.
  St. Norbert (20-4-1, 16-1-1 NCHA) then scored three times in the second to pull away and tacked on another goal in the third.

Sydney Seeley made 32 saves for the Vikings (6-15-4, 3-11-4). Grendel Sprong made nine saves for St. Norbert.
  Despite the loss, Lawrence clinched a berth in the Slaats Cup playoffs. The eighth seed, Lawrence will face top seed St. Norbert in a two-game quarterfinal series next Friday and Saturday at Cornerstone Community Center.
