FRANKLIN, Ind. -- The Lawrence University women's lacrosse team earned the first victory in program history on Sunday with a 12-11 nonconference win over Franklin College at Faught Stadium.
  Lawrence scored twice in the final 1:01 to pull out the victory, the first for the Vikings in their inaugural season.

Lydia Lueck scored six goals, including the game-winner with 11 seconds remaining, to lead the Vikings (1-1).
Evelyn Pryadkin made five saves to pick up the win in goal.
  The Vikings put together a pair of late rallies. Abby Moore's goal gave Franklin (0-3) a 10-8 lead with 10:27 left in the fourth quarter, but Lueck scored the game's next two goals to tie it at 10-10 with 7:11 left to go.
  Aubrey Small then scored for the Grizzlies with 3:57 remaining for an 11-10 lead.Â

Savannah Larsen, who finished with three goals for the Vikings, took advantage of a Franklin turnover and her goal with 1:01 left tied it at 11-11. Lawrence then regained possession on the ensuing draw control and Lueck scored a goal off a free position shot with just 11 ticks remaining to deliver the victory.
  Lawrence was down 3-0 in the opening quarter before Lueck, Emmy Perry and
Reese Deibert all scored to tie the game early in the second. After a Franklin goal, Lawrence scored three straight again with Larsen picking up a goal and Lueck scoring twice for a 6-4 lead at the half.
  The teams traded goals in the third and early in the fourth before Deibert got her second goal of the day to tie the game at 8-8 with 13:15 left.
  Lawrence returns to action on Friday when the Vikings travel to Anderson University.
